Our History
Like
other Buddhist monastic education centers in Myanmar, the Jetawun Monastic
Education Center teaches primary and m idle school children not only reading,
writing and arithmetic but also Buddhist sasana
(literature and practices). Thus, the school provides not only a curriculum
education but also a strong ethical and moral foundation for all boys and girls
attending the school.
Since
the school was founded in 2006, the number of students has increased each year,
and the literacy rate in the area continues to rise.
Our Goals
To
improve the education we offer
To
construct a two-story school building to education even more needy children
Our Beliefs
Those
organizations and individuals wise enough to put the welfare of others before
their own personal benefit are earnestly invited to contribute to this
education charity
Proverbial Wisdom
Possessions
are impermanent. Wisdom is the coveted pot of gold.
The
golden jar of learning cannot be stolen(Myanmar proverbs says)
Only
in raising water level can assist the lotus beautify and dignities.

Introductory of Jetawun Vihara
President
State Sanga Mahanaraka Committee, Myingyan Sayadaw Bhaddanta Sobhita (Abhidhaja
Maha Guru) and principle Ashin Ardeikca had been leading to establish Jetawun Monastic Education
Center was founded by Daka and Dakama (Laymen and
laywomen) in June 2006. At the beginning, a few local retired teachers such as
U Kyaw Hoe, Daw Ohn Kyi, Daw Mya Mya Win and Daw Nwe Ni Aung participate in the
school activities with 46 students.
Now
days, students are increasing up to 375 with 8 teachers for grades Kindergarten
to grade 8. Necessary stationary and expenditures have been provided by local monastery
supporters U Maung Maung Yin and Daw Hla Hla Sein family and others.
Additional
gifts from tourists and others have now established a library and enclosed
classrooms.
Jetawun
students have recently received awards placing them first in the region, even
compared to government school students.

ပရဟိတ လုပ္သူတိုင္း ျဖတ္သန္းရမည့္ ခရီးစဥ္နွင့္ နွလံုးသြင္းရမည့္အခ်က္မ်ား
(၁) အနစ္နာခံရမည္။
(၂) ကိုယ္က်ဳိးစီးပြားကို အတတ္နုိင္ဆံုးစြန္႕ရမည္။
(၃) အျပစ္ေျပာခံရမည္ (၄) အခ်ီးမြမ္းခံရမည္။
(၅) အတိုက္အခိုက္ေပါမည္။
(၆) အခ်ိန္နွင့္ စီး၀င္လာေသာ ေငြေၾကးမ်ားကို အခ်ဳိးက်အသံုးျပဳနုိင္ရမည္။
(၇)မူလရည္ရြယ္ခ်က္ႏွင့္ရည္မွန္းခ်က္ မပ်က္ေအာင္ ထိန္းသိမ္းရမည္။
(၈) မာန္မာနၾကီး၊ စိတ္ၾကီးမ၀င္ေအာင္ အျမဲသတိထားရမည္။
(၉) ခ်ီးမြမ္းျခင္း၊ ကဲ့ရဲ႕ျခင္းတုိ႕သည္ အလုပ္မရိွေသာ သူတို႕၏ အလုပ္ျဖစ္၏ဟု နွလံုးသြင္းနုိင္ရမည္။
(၁၀) ငါတို႕လုပ္နုိင္ေသာ ပရဟိတသည္ ခုမွထြင္ျပီး အသစ္လုပ္သည္မဟုတ္။ ေရွးဘုရား အေလာင္း သူေတာ္ေကာင္းၾကီးတို႕လုပ္ေသာ အလုပ္ျဖစ္၏ဟု နွလံုးသြင္းနုိင္ရမည္။
(၁၁) ပရဟိတသည္ တစ္သံသရာလံုးမွ ဖံုးကြယ္လာေသာ အတၱဟိတကိုနည္းနည္းျခင္း ခြခ်ျခင္းျဖစ္၏ ဟုနွလံုးသြင္းနုိင္ရမည္။
(၁၂) ပရဟိတသည္ ေပးဆပ္ျခင္းျဖစ္၏။ ယူေသာသူသည္ အသိပါျခင္းလည္းပါမည္။ အသိမပါ ရိုင္းစိုင္းသူလည္းျဖစ္ခ်င္ျဖစ္မည္။ ေပးသေလာက္ ယူခ်င္သူလည္း ရိွမည္။ မယူခ်င့္ယူခ်င္ ယူသူလည္း ရိွမည္။ လံုး၀ မယူသူလည္း ရိွမည္။ ထိုအျခင္းအရာတို႕သည္ သူ႕တာ၀န္သာျဖစ္၏။ ကိုယ့္တာ၀န္ကေတာ့ ေပးျခင္းသာ ပဓာနျဖစ္၏ဟု နွလံုးသြင္းနုိင္ရမည္။
